Gemology

During these evenings, our teacher and jewellery consultant takes us through the fascinating world of gems. We will discover everything we would like to know about this world, but have never had the opportunity to delve into. We will use analysis instruments, touch a wide variety of stones, from the semi-precious to the most precious ones, study their characteristics, find out their value, unveil the imitations. We will measure ourselves in small tests of skill with the pleasure of winning unexpected prizes. An extremely interesting Course with the scent of challenge.

A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the Course program.

Program

Three evenings on gemmological analysis and expertise; nine monographic evenings on diamond, corundum (ruby and sapphire), beryl (emerald and aquamarine), pearls, siliceous gems (quartz, opals, chalcedony) and tourmalines, garnets, tanzanite and/or other semi-precious stones on request of the students.

1st shift from the second half of October to the end of February;
2nd shift from the beginning of March to the end of May
